The candlelight vigil for victims of road between intentions and expectations.
Saturday, August 1, 2009 will be held in Memphis a candlelight vigil in memory of victims of road SP 79 (Memphis - Porto Palo) and in particular Daniel Puccio, the seventeen year old Menfi disappeared into the night last July 19.

promoters of the initiative were the parents, Nino and Silvana, and his younger brother, Luke, surrounded and supported by the cooperation of relatives and friends. The procession will move from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele at 19:30 and arrive at the junction of Porto Palo.
Relatives and friends are in great turmoil for the organization of the procession: they were prepared T-shirts, candles and perhaps a shuttle service after the event. The friends have indulged in creating billboards and banners.
Participants also will flock from neighboring countries: the town of Alessandria della Rocca has provided a bus for those who wish to participate.
The social network Facebook was a group supporting the initiative:
"candlelight vigil to remember Daniel."

From 2006 to present were ten victims of Memphis - Porto Palo, without taking into account those within the city and surrounding areas.
The message that you want to run with this torch is a message of dissatisfaction: Memphis is tired of his crying children.
The streets are devoid of most ordinary rules of safety guard rails, lighting, road markings. Visibility is limited in several sections, narrow and insufficient to support safety in the season menfitana. The torchlight procession will
a powerful symbol and effective: more control, safer streets, but mostly just the indifference of the authorities.
